Undergraduate business students may major in Entrepreneurship, which has two emphases, both of which are competitive enrollment:

The McGuire Entrepreneurship Program is unique — academic, practical, intense, and stimulating. The Idea Path: Your Key to Success
The entrepreneurship program consists of courses and modules in new venture finance, marketing new ventures, competitive advantage and industry analysis, and venture develop 1 and II (view electives and other recommended entrepreneurship courses). The venture development courses are the capstone of the McGuire Entrepreneurship Program.
McGuire Entrepreneurship curriculum is built around the program goal of preparing students with knowledge, tools, and experience to successfully apply entrepreneurial principles in a range of environments. The key method is the IdeaPath™. The vehicle is a problem based, innovative, scalable venture concept that is moved through natural phases of entrepreneurial development including early idea formation and assessment and onto validation, strategy development, business plan authorship, and of course, funding and application. Particular emphasis is placed on gaining intimate fluency of the venture’s solution, customer, environment, social and economic impact, and potential to add value to a range of populations and needs.
As a result, the education experience holds value for any student wanting to contribute more significantly in any professional or personal environment, to meaningfully impact problems and solutions, to move ideas about which they are passionate to reality. And of course, to launch new companies, create wealth, and strengthen economies and communities.
